CLAT Exam Eligibility

CLAT is open to candidates who have finished their 10+2 with a minimal percentage. There is no upper age limit, therefore it is open to all streams and international candidates. What is CLAT?
CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. It is organized by the Consortium of NLUs on a rotational basis. CLAT is a centralized exam for candidates seeking admission to 5-year integrated undergraduate programs in Law as well as LLM courses.
What is the fee for CLAT 2024?
The registration fee for CLAT 2024 is Rs.4000 for general category candidates and Rs.3500 for SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled category candidates. There is an additional processing charge as applicable for online payments. The fee is non-refundable if a candidate does not appear for the exam.
What is eligible for CLAT?
To be eligible for CLAT, a candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST). There is no age limit but applicants must have completed 20 years of age as on July 1 of admission year.
What is the total marks of CLAT 2024?
The structure of CLAT 2024 entails a total of 120 questions to be completed within 2 hours. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
