As part of this initiative, students are granted an annual scholarship of Rs.30,000 per semester (amounting to Rs. 60,000 annually), in addition to a research grant of Rs.20,000. The eligibility criteria are stringent, with only B.S program students ranking within the top 10,000 in the ALL INDIA RANK (AIR) in the Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics departments qualifying for consideration. To avail themselves of this opportunity, students must submit an undertaking to the SSPC every semester, confirming their exclusion from any other scholarship schemes.
